The well-known equestrian centre of Rowallan is about 5 miles distant.

DESCRIPTION

Meadowhead Farm is a most attractive small Ayrshire farm which has been greatly improved to create a superb residential and equestrian holding. The traditional stone and slate Farmhouse has been extensively refurbished to form a beautiful family house. There is a superb open plan kitchen/dining area complemented by 3 further reception rooms. Part of the House is a self-contained wing with kitchen, 4 bedrooms, shower room and WC which could be let out or used separately if required. The principal bedroom has a dressing room and en-suite facilities. A spacious barn provides a wonderful games room. Considerable care and attention to detail has been applied to the refurbishment of Meadowhead, now a charming country home.

Outside there are unrivalled equestrian facilities. Attached to the House is a workshop, office, WC and kitchen. The extensive hard standing to the front of the House is enclosed by the buildings which include a superb indoor riding arena (100ft x 130ft), 23 stables, tack room, hay shed and store, and floodlit outdoor arena.

The land provides excellent grazing ranging from good quality permanent pasture to rough grazing at a height above sea level of 180m to 220m.
