DIRECTIONS

From Glasgow take the M8 motorway heading west past Glasgow Airport. Turn off at junction 28 onto the A737 Irvine Trunk Road. At Johnstone, follow signs for Houston on the B789. Once in Houston, at the roundabout, turn right onto the B790 heading east out of the village on Houston Road. Continue for about 1.5 miles before turning right onto an unclassified road signposted towards Linwood. After about 300 metres take the first left turn onto a private farm track where Birkenhead Farm Steading is located on the left hand side after about 250 metres.
