Donavourd is a hamlet approximately 3 miles south of the town of Pitlochry, which provides excellent local services, with a range of retailers including a supermarket together with medical facilities and primary and secondary schools. Planning
The former stables benefits from Detailed Planning Permission for the sub-division and extension of the building to form 3 dwellinghouses granted by Perth and Kinross Council on 14th February 2006. The plots to the north benefit from Outline Planning Permission for the demolition of existing kennels and the erection of 3 dwelling houses. A copy of the planning permission together with associated plans is contained within the Technical Information Pack. In addition, a detailed application was registered on 21st December 2007 for two of the plots to the north, for the erection of two, 4 bedroom houses. At the time of writing the application was pending decision.
Services
Enquiries have been made to Scottish Water and Scottish & Southern Energy with regard to the location of utilities and their responses are included in the technical information. Mains electricity is located on site. Water is by way of a mains supply through a private pipe. A deed of servitude has been granted to allow the private water pipe to be laid to service the whole site. A plan indicating the location of the mains water supply and the proposed route of the private pipe are located within the technical information. Drainage will be by way of a private system. A wayleave right has been granted to allow foul water to be discharged to a septic tank/bio disc system and soakaway in the field to the east of the site outlined in blue on the attached plan.
Access
